The coffee shop has a lovely minimalist interior that feels inviting and modern. I appreciate the aesthetic and ambiance of the place. However, I think it could be made more inclusive to cater to a broader range of customers, especially considering its location in Asia and in a town like Plaridel. While the clientele seems to lean toward a more affluent demographic, creating a space that feels welcoming to everyone could enhance its appeal and community feel. In terms of pricing, the coffee is on the expensive side compared to other local options. At 250 PHP (~5€), it’s comparable to European coffee prices, where such costs are already considered high. Adjusting the pricing or offering more budget-friendly options could make it more accessible to a wider audience and better aligned with the local market.

I first fell in love with them during the summer of 2023, and a year and a half later, they still have me captivated. I vividly remember the first dish I ordered it was their Caesar Salad. From that moment on, I made it a point to visit at least once a twice a month, especially after getting my own motorcycle. Fast forward to today when I brought my wife along for the first time, she had the same reaction to their salad.

Always improving! I witnessed the start of this cafe and visit them everytime we’re at north (we’re from NCR) and yeah, they’re always improving! From payment method, ordering, service, menu and the place. The food justifies it’s price. As a coffee lover and enthusiast, I approve the taste of their coffee. The service is always nice. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The place is great! It feels like, you’re always required to strike a pose and take that picture. Most of my facebook pfp are from this cafe. We will always go back here whether we’re just passing by or we will go all the way from manila just to enjoy what we miss here.

There are many local cafés and café-restaurants in Bulacan, but The Seat has truly set itself apart from the rest. Here’s why: 1. While food and drinks should be the main reason for going to cafés, ambience and vibe matter just as much, especially for young people today. Personally, I care a lot about how a place makes me feel, and The Seat just gets it. I can sit down, get my work done, and actually focus while sipping my coffee. Plus points for their fast internet! Super helpful whenever I have meetings! Knowing also the fact that the furnitures are custom designed, they are not just there to look nice, they actually make the space feel different in a good way. 2. Coffee offerings are top tier! No cap. Dare I say, they serve the best coffee drinks in the province. If you’re a regular café goer, you just know when a coffee is good. And The Seat? They know their coffee. Personal favorites are their No. 1 TS/Presso, No. 2 Bulakan (a kakanin-inspired drink, must try!!!), and their Spanish Latte. I have yet to try more of their non-coffee options, but their Hot Chocolate? To die for. 3. Food quality and taste are unmatched, something you won’t easily find in other nearby cafés. Might be a bold statement, but it’s true lol. Some might aldo think the prices are on the higher side, but at the end of the day, I always leave the café satisfied, knowing I got what I paid for. My go-to’s - Salted Egg Pasta and Mac & Cheese. For rice meals naman, their Chicken Ala King and Braised Beef Bowl are must-tries! BANANA BREAD -you have to try this! They offer a variety of all day meals, so you can drop by anytime and still get a satisfying meal. 4. It might seem like basic service 101, but the staffs are genuinely approachable. Mula pagpasok hanggang paglabas, you’ll be greeted and accommodated. I guess that says a lot about the kind of work environment they have - good team, good management. If you haven’t been to The Seat yet, you’re missing out. Definitely one of Bulacan’s best café experiences. Feel free to browse some of the photos I’ve taken during my visits!
